The Pyschlo X RSL
Following closely in the footsteps of the Vamoots RSL and Mooto X RSL, this frame was designed to make it the leader in its class. The overall objective was to build the lightest and stiffest, high-performance titanium cyclocross bike available to racers today. And to do it without compromising the unique Moots ride quality or lifetime durability. Starting by incorporating a 44mm oversized head tube to increase front-end stiffness and enhance handling responsiveness. This feature also allows you to run a 1 1/2” to 1 1/8” tapered fork if you wish. Next, its spec’d with large-diameter, thin-walled, U.S.-made seamless, double-butted tube set to increase overall fame stiffness while reducing weight. Also incorporated the PF 30 bottom bracket to achieve greater stiffness for more immediate power transfer under accelerating pedal force. For the rear section of the frame, formed and tapered the chain stays and seat stays to increase clearance while providing an elegant look and supple ride for those times when the cross course surfaces turn ugly (which fortunately or unfortunately, they do quite often.) Finally, aformed the top tube to provide comfortable shouldering for those stretches when the course is better raced on foot.

The Pyschlo X
New updated geometry for Fall of 2013!
The Psychlo X has been the go-to-machine for Cyclocross for many years and this year it gets some tweaks to take it to the next level of an all-around race, gravel and adventure bike. Not afraid to be ridden on road, in group rides and beyond.
To achieve a better-rounded ride a lowered the bottom bracket height to give the bike a lower center of gravity on loose dirt and gravel. Next - slackened the angles to make the bike track better while riding changing surfaces. Add a 44mm head tube standard on the Psychlo X to accommodate tapered forks & disc brakes. Max tire size in the standard Psychlo X is 34mm.
450 Chain stay option—Want to build the ultimate in adventure bikes that can handle a bigger tire? We’ve added the option of a 450mm chain stay to the Psychlo X which will allow the use of a 40mm tire. Deep back country Forest Service roads, dicey double track and even some single track are within reach with the longer chain stay and bigger tire.
For many, this frame quickly becomes the utility bike they can’t live without, once the cross season comes to a close. Built in 7 stock sizes with custom always available.
Intended Use: True all-out Cyclocross performer, ride, train or race. The ultimate gravel grinder for dirt roads or muddy fields.
The Frosti
It’s that time of year again, no not Cyclocross (but yes it really is that time too), but it’s time to think Winter and SNOW BIKING. For the second year in a row, Moots will be offering a limited run of Moots “FROSTI” snowbikes for each winter season.
